The Schloss Watches team just spent a couple of days at Road Atlanta for the annual end-of-season Petit LeMans race. Fans were not disappointed and the racing was fantastic.

This was a season where the sport welcomed Peugot and BMW to the fold and they did a wonderful job, besting series champs for top honors at many races.
Of course, Porsche continued its strong presence and the pushrod pros from Corvette were again scarily competitive. Watches and cars just seem to go together!

The Schloss team recently spent a few days on fabulous Lake Powell.
We rented a 75-foot houseboat and enjoyed sunny days filled with swimming, fishing, boating and more, all while in incredibly beautiful redrock canyons.
The striped bass fishing was amazing and we kept track of time with our Schloss R40 chronographs. Water resistant to 330 feet, so no worries at all during our exploits on H2O.

The Schloss model R40 Chronograph will be retired at the end of 2009.
A new series of models currently are in design/production and will debut on or about February 2010. These new models will feature larger cases, potentially up to 54mm and a selection of quartz and/or automatic movements.
Still 100% Swiss? Of course!
So, if you’re considering the purchase of an R40, now is the TIME.
